The active clip-on sensor model ALFM transduces, in a temperature-linear manner, the temperature-dependent resistance of the sensor to a voltage signal of 0 to 10 V or to a current signal of 4 to 20 mA. The measuring transducer is delivered tuned to the measuring range 0...100°C. 

To improve the transmission of the actually sensed temperatures, it is recommended to apply heat conductuion paste between the tube or pipe and the clip-on sensor.
