The VG8300N and VG8300H – Balanced-Pressure (BP) Valves serve to regulate the flow of water and steam in heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems. The use of other mediums is possible but this requires consultation with the manufacturer. There are differences in water composition. Normal tap water can generally be used without further preparation, as long as it remains in a closed system and it has, after awhile, chemically “settled”. When, however, due to water loss the system is constantly being refilled then, the water must be treated. Recommendations are contained in guideline VDI 2035. Selection and adaptation of materials has been made in compliance with currently valid EN, DIN, AD, TRD, and UVV regulations. Mechanical and nominal flow characteristics are in conformity with DIN EN 60534 standards. The area of valve application is the responsibility of the system planner. Specific valve identifications must be observed. Electric and pneumatic control valve actuators are available for the regulation. These can be supplied individually or completely assembled, that is, tested and mounted on the valve.
